At Arnold Clark, we know that our employees are crucial to the success of the company. To reflect this, we are pleased to introduce a new Sales Management Programme for high achieving individuals from all walks of life that are ambitious, hardworking and comfortable working showroom hours, including weekends. In return for commitment, determination, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills, successful candidates will benefit from a generous remuneration package including company car, private health care, life assurance and a starting salary of £15,000 - £18,000 with first year on-target earnings of £30,000.

In June 2006 we launched a new initiative for sales training with a positive slant towards new learning and management promotion. Due to the huge success story of the scheme we are pleased to announce the commencement of a New Programme in August 2007 with an intensive induction period covering all aspects of the company. Each recruit will be allocated a company mentor, given on-the-job training and will be subject to an on-going assessment over a twelve month period. After successful completion of initial training, each recruit will be on the fast track to a Management position at an Arnold Clark dealership and will specialise in one of the company's 20 manufacturers, covering all market segments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Qualifications Do I Need?
There are no formal qualifications required. However, a good level of education, literacy and numeracy is essential. Enthusiasm and personality are key factors. In addition, experience of working within a customer related environment with the ability to deal with people at all levels is desirable.

Is There an Age Limit?
We have no strict limitations regarding age. However, due to company vehicle insurance restrictions you must be no younger than 19 years of age with a full driving license held for no less than 6 - 12 months.

What Can I expect to Earn?
Your earnings in the first year are expected to be around £30,000 OTE.

Where Would I be Based?
The programme will be running throughout all of our branches, therefore we will have opportunities within most of these areas.
